On Woke culture

A while ago someone turned to me and remarked angrily something to the effect: "it's about being "awake" not "woke"! And it's total BS that we will all be dead in 12 years!! Woke culture has it all wrong!!!"

ree

My first thoughts were:

"What is woke culture?" And

"Why will we all be dead in 12 years?!"

Now this was a powerful man, and anger like this is oftentimes motivated by underlying fear. So I investigated, especially when I kept seeing videos that x,y,z celebrity "destroyed Woke culture!!!"

Guys, that is not an intelligent approach. You won't "destroy woke culture".

Why?

Because there is truth behind it.

The reason why there is so much erratic behavior in that movement is not because all the thoughts are stupid - and some of the would-be destroyers know that, because their fear is based on a bad conscience, is trying to "keep up appearances", i.e. the fiction of how loving and selfless they worked for their children when it was really about them - their fun and feeling of connectedness (big family), their money and power, and their significance. Most of them knew where the road was going in terms of environmental destruction, they just didn't care. They didn't feel a connection with other life, so they didn't feel immediately affected, and they were hoping to be long dead when what they had done would come out. And those who didn't know are embarrassed about it and don't want to admit it.

That's why those who are now presented with the bill are so angry and try to punish any culprit they can find extra hard - even if it is under the excuse of some other crime that is still more recognized by the criminal system and the culture.

And, the second element why it won't go away is that they are indeed becoming more "awake" - that's actually the consensus in spiritual circles - but most find nobody to lead them or to guide them in what it means.

That whole gendering thing - spiritual development goes from the material to the emotional, mental, up to the spiritual. The soul indeed has no gender. There is no male soul or female soul. Even emotionally, masculine and feminine energies exist in both sexes, no matter if they are hetero or gay. It is only on the physical level that the distinction male/female exists. But this isn't taught anymore. So once a broad part of the population becomes aware of the spiritual dimension, of course, there will be confusion of what it means and how it could or should express itself to meet the demands of the times.

Even the addiction to cell phones can be explained that way. Spirituality isn't taught anymore, so the subtle ways to achieve "oneness" are getting lost. The connection to nature, which can provide another route, is lost as well, with young people being afraid of everything in it. So this generation is looking for another way to get there and become a part of a greater consciousness - just via a technical route.

Elon Musk is doing the same with his Neurolink.

There is an easier way.

Yes, spirituality tends to require some work.

You don't tend to get there in an afternoon.

It requires refinement of character.

And some of these things you may even be addicted to.

But there is a reason for that.

Getting connected to the whole is not without danger.

The whole doesn't contain only heaven, it also contains hell.

If you get connected to the whole without these preparations, there may be a price to pay that is much higher than the preparations you don't want to make.

Quite a few people who tried to take a shortcut over diverse substances found that out.

And there is no guarantee that you will find your way out again.

So there is a danger in trying to cut around the requirements.

But there are many ways to Rome.

Anybody has the right to choose any way they want.

The established ways have the advantage that they have been tried and tested literally for millennia.

But that doesn't mean new ways won't work.

And chances are that guides will show up on those paths as well.

You may just find that the lessons you need to learn will be found no matter which way you travel.
